In life, we all understand that sometimes things don't go "as planned". Rarely, in fact! What we've also come to realize is that there is a blessing in everything, and a lesson and an experience from which we are meant to travel, learn and grow. This is the latest lesson - not curse - that has come for us to navigate. As always we hope for limited sandtraps and mountaintops, but will travel with appreciation wherever we need to go.

For the uninitiated, this is a re-do of the well-circulated photo four years ago in which Joe was less than enchanted at being part of a Santa hat group photo. Fast forward four years, and he just couldn't keep it together as he tried to muster the same angst-filled expression. He broke up every time, and took the photo session down, with everyone was laughing 'til they cried, including the photographer. Who has more fun than we do?
I can't stop looking at these photos! Not only because they are just plain wonderful and funny - but because these children are just breathtakingly gorgeous - AND the pics make me realize why I love them so much. You - you made em and did a bang up job (haha)!
